Saucisson Sec is a French-style dry salami (aka saucisson) made from pork flavored with fresh garlic, sea salt, and black peppercorns. The ingredients are then stuffed in an all natural beef casing, cured for 30 days and hand tied.
Fabrique Delices has been carefully crafting artisanal charcuterie for over 24 years. They follow traditional recipes in order to ensure authentic texture and flavor.
Ingredients: Pork, Salt, Dextrose, Spices, Lactic Acid Starter Culture, Rice Starch, Sodium Erythorbate, Garlic, Sodium Nitrite, Beef Casing.
Store dry cured sausages in your refrigerator. For long term storage they can be frozen, but this may change their texture.
Up to 12 weeks for unopened sausages.
RECIPES & TIPS
Treat saucisson sec as you would other dry salamis. It's delicious sliced thin for sandwiches, charcuterie plates, and appetizers. Peeling the casing off of the saucisson prior to eating it is recommended (it's easiest to do this after slicing).
