Certified Free Range, Organic & Humane
These dedicated farmers are raising chickens the way they should be raised. Certified Level 3 by the Global Animal Partnership (GAP), the chickens on SVO farms are given plenty of space and enrichments to express their natural behaviors like jumping, perching and foraging. GAP provides a unique set of standards and guidelines for animal welfare. Level 3 ensures the chickens are free range with access to the outdoors and mandates a "low stocking density" (to avoid overcrowding in houses, making sure the chickens have more space to move about both indoors and outside). Certified USDA Organic and verified by the Non-GMO Project, these chickens are fed an entirely vegetarian diet and never antibiotics, hormones or animal byproducts.
Keep chicken thighs in their vacuum packs, stored in your freezer until you're ready to use them, then thaw as many packs as you need.
RECIPES & TIPS
Chicken thighs are more succulent and slightly more robust in flavor than breasts. Since they're juicier, they hold up well to high-heat cooking techniques like stir-frying, deep-frying and grilling. They're excellent cubed for skewers or stir-fries, breaded and baked or pan-roasted. SVO Chicken thighs are adaptable and can be used in your favorite recipes.

According to USDA guidelines, chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
