It’s usually a good rule of thumb that the smaller a chile is, the more you have to fear from it in terms of heat level. Believe it or not, these Tiny Veggies™ Peppers are actually an exception to that rule, with a similar flavor and heat level to your average bell pepper!
Their beautiful appearance evokes the classic shape of a chile pepper like a De Arbol or Thai chile, with a waxy finish that shows off their colors, making them the perfect garnish for all manner of dishes.
Tiny Veggies™ Peppers are sold as a mixed color blend that can include some or all of these colors: yellow, orange, red, and/or purple. The size of each pepper can vary.
Store Tiny Veggies™ Peppers in their plastic clamshell in your refrigerator.
RECIPES & TIPS
Tiny Veggies™ Peppers can be used as an ingredient similarly to the same volume of bell peppers, but that would be a waste. Their true calling is use as a flavorful garnish for savory dishes or lightly cooked in side dishes with other ingredients.
Try pairing them with ingredients like cheese, vegetables like eggplant or zucchini, lamb, beef, white fish (tuna, seabass, perch, swordfish, rockfish, trout, etc), shrimp, pork, quail, garlic, potatoes, thyme, basil, or tomatoes.
