Grain-Fortified Beef Flat Iron Steaks

Choice of sizes (approximately 10 lbs.) | Free Shipping

Flank steak has a rich, assertively beefy taste. Its coarse grain absorbs marinades well, making it ideal for tacos, fajitas, stir-fries or any recipe calling for beef strips.

Pasture-raised, grain-fortified Irish Nature beef is the most sustainable, humanely treated, grain-fed beef you can buy. Few beef companies take sustainability as seriously as ABP, producer of Irish Nature Beef and the first global company to achieve quadruple certification from the Carbon Trust Standard.

Sourced from a network of small farms throughout Ireland, Irish Nature Beef is raised free range on a diverse, grain-enhanced grass-based diet that naturally increases marbling & flavor without feedlot fattening. No sub-therapeutic antibiotics or growth promotants are ever used. A unique tenderization process and longer-than-customary aging time increases tenderness & develops flavor.

Thawing Tips

Flat iron steaks offer tremendous flavor when grilled or broiled. They're often marinated before cooking to impart extra flavor and juiciness. Use flat iron steak for fajitas, steak frites, Chinese stir fries or Korean bulgogi.

Once flat iron steaks have cooked, rest them (covered with foil) for 10-15 minutes to help keep their juices from running out onto the cutting board, and then slice them thinly against the grain & serve.

Be sure to let these steaks rest (covered in foil and on a clean plate) for about five minutes prior to serving or cutting. This allows their juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and flavorful steak.
