An exotic and tasty alternative to beef burgers, venison burgers are a great way to bring new flavors to your grill.

In additon to its flavor benefits, venison is also quite healthy. It is very low in cholesterol and fat, but contains important vitamins, minerals, and omega 3 levels.

New Zealand venison is particularly prized because it is raised with exceptionally high standards of husbandry.  These burgers are ground from New Zealand red deer.


Store venison burgers in your freezer until you're ready to use them, then thaw only as many packs as you need.

Thawing Tips


While venison burgers can be cooked as you would beef burgers, the patties can also be broken up into ground venison for use in meatball, meatloaf, sauce and stuffing recipes.
