Canoe-Cut Beef Marrow Bones

Approximately 30 lbs. | Free Shipping

With our canoe-cut beef marrow bones, it’s a snap to prepare this steakhouse delicacy at home. The lengthwise cut of these femur bones makes it easy to extract the rich, buttery marrow within after roasting or broiling them. They can be seasoned simply with salt and pepper, or more elaborately topped with flavored breadcrumbs. In addition to luxurious flavor, collagen-rich beef marrow is a good source of healthy fats, as well as vitamin A, vitamin E, iron, and zinc.

5 to 7-inch bones in a vacuum-sealed pack (approximately 30 lbs.)

Thawing Tips

The simplest way to serve marrow bones is to season them with salt and pepper, broil until the marrow begins to soften but not melt and serve them with crostini or toast points for spreading. For an extra layer of flavor, spoon on a topping of breadcrumbs seasoned with olive oil, fresh parsley, garlic, salt, and chili flakes before popping under the broiler. Serve broiled marrow bones alongside a steak or slice of prime rib, or on their own with crostini or toast points and some condiments such as shallot marmalade, fried capers, or whole grain mustard aioli.
