Dried Habanero Peppers

Starting at $21 /4oz

Habanero Chiles (Capsicum Annuum) are very hot chiles. Behind the heat is a fruity flavor that makes these chiles a wonderful way to spark up a dish. Habanero chilies are round, oblong and about ¾ inch wide. Consider the habanero to be a 10 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the hottest).

WARNING: Use rubber gloves when handling the Habanero Pepper.

Scoville Heat Rating:
100,000-350,000

Origin:
Ecuador

Applications: Habanero are very, very hot. Use them sparingly, add a little to fresh salsa, sauces, chili and anything else you want to start a 4 alarm fire with. Great in tortilla soup and other Mexican recipes.
