Use these micro greens as a tender basil garnish on pizzas, pasta, and other (particularly Italian) dishes. Use sprinkled micro-basil in place of the traditional basil chiffonade for a different look. The combination of basil, pine nuts, Parmigiano Reggiano, and extra virgin olive oil to make pesto is classic. While it would take a lot of micro-basil to make pesto sauce, those same flavors can be lightly tossed together to make a tasty micro-basil salad.
