The wildness of true Wild Boar meat gives it a distinct game flavor that farm-raised Wild Boar simply cannot match. Although similar to domestic pork and farm-raised Wild Boar, wild Wild Boar has a deeper color, leaner texture, tighter grain, and bolder taste.
We also offer ground wild boar for making your own burger patties as well as meatballs, meatloaf, pasta sauces, etc.
Keep wild boar burgers frozen until you're ready to use them, then thaw as many 2 burger packs as you need. Use both boar patties in each package rather than refreezing leftovers.

RECIPES & TIPS
Pair them with any sides, condiments, and toppings that work well with pork, or use game meat friendly flavors like juniper berries, red wine, fruit (especially apples, prunes, and berries), rosemary or thyme.
For a change of pace, you can also thaw some of these patties and use them as ground boar in sauces, meatballs, and other recipes.

The USDA recommends that all wild-caught game be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
