The daikon is a large, long white radish central to Japanese cuisine. Though it tastes similar to the little red radishes most Americans are familiar with, its flavor is considerably more mild. The same can not be said of micro daikon greens. Each small leaf packs the spicy flavor of a red radish.
Applications: Daikon greens are a great way to surprise your guests with radish flavor masquerading as a garnish. They pair well with Asian flavors like soy and bring bite to sashimi, but can also be cooled down by pairing them with cheeses or cream/milk based sauces.
How to Store and Share: Purple daikon microgreens should be kept in their plastic clamshell in the fridge until you are ready to use them. They should last for about 5-7 days.
