Thawing Tips

Veal top round can be roasted or braised whole, or used to make veal scallopini, veal Milanese or veal steaks by slicing the meat into whatever thickness needed. Doing that yourself can be more economical than buying pre-butchered cutlets and steaks. When cutting top round into smaller pieces, make sure to slice across the easy-to-see grain for maximum tenderness.
