Sweet Italian wild boar sausage is the perfect way to add even more flavor to your rustic pork dishes. Compared to domestic pork, wild boar is leaner with a stronger flavor that can be used as a substitute for both pork and venison. These sausages are made with meat from domesticated wild boar.
Applications: Treat these wild boar sausages as you would conventional sweet Italian sausages. They can be cooked whole (grilled, broiled, etc), sliced and integrated into dishes, or pulled from their casings and used as ground sausage in pasta sauces. How to Store and Share: These sausages come separated into four-packs, making it easy to thaw only as much as you need or divide the case amongst friends and family. For thawing guidelines please refer to Safely Defrosting Food for Maximum Flavor.
Specifications: Each Wild Boar Italian Sausage weighs 3oz, and is packaged in groups of four. Each case contains twelve of these groups, for a total of 9 pounds of frozen wild boar sausage per order.
