Product Information


Tellicherry pepper (aka Thalassery pepper) is one of the most sought after peppers in the world. Pepper grown on Mt. Tellicherry in India is already considered some of that nation’s finest, but only the top 10% of it is named after the mountain. Tellicherry peppercorns are larger and more mature with a cleaner, crisper pepper flavor that rises above all other peppers.


Store spices in their jar in a cool, dark cupboard. If grinding, do so just prior to use as pre-ground spices lose flavor and aroma over time.


Treat as you would normal whole black pepper. Crack or grind and use to season meats, seafood, sauces and vegetables. You can even take your desserts in a new direction with Tellicherry peppercorns’ complex flavor, as in our Huckleberry Crème Puree recipe where they were used to flavor a simple syrup.
