If you’ve only eaten cured anchovies, these flash frozen fresh anchovy fillets will be a revelation. They taste sweet, delicate, and only slightly briny, still they’ll add a flavor punch to any dish or sauce. Anchovies may be tiny, but they offer abundant health benefits, including omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, iodine, and selenium.

Store frozen fish in your freezer until you’re ready to use it, then thaw only as much as you plan on cooking.

Thawing Tips

Cook anchovy fillets as you would any other fresh fish. They are especially good battered in cornmeal and deep-fried. Try marinating them in white wine vinegar and herbs to use on sandwiches or adorn a Caesar salad or sliced fresh tomatoes.
