Chicken tenderloins are strips of muscle that run along the inside of each breast half, closest to the bone. They are the tenderest part of the breast. Skinless, boneless Shenandoah Valley Organic (SVO) chicken tenderloins are juicy, flavorful, and really, truly taste like chicken! Unlike conventionally raised chickens, SVO chicken isn’t bland.

Raised in the USA on Family Farms
A family-run company, Shenandoah Valley Organic knows happy farmers and happier chickens means a higher quality, healthier product. That's why SVO pioneered the Farmer Focused business model and provides full traceability and transparency for every chicken and every cut. Keeping farmers in charge of their own farms and flocks gives them the freedom, flexibility and deeply rooted pride of ownership to run their farms as they see fit.

Certified Free Range, Organic & Humane These dedicated farmers are raising chickens the way they should be raised. Certified Level 3 by the Global Animal Partnership (GAP), the chickens on SVO farms are given plenty of space and enrichments to express their natural behaviors like jumping, perching and foraging. GAP provides a unique set of standards and guidelines for animal welfare. Level 3 ensures the chickens are free range with access to the outdoors and mandates a "low stocking density" (to avoid overcrowding in houses, making sure the chickens have more space to move about both indoors and outside). Certified USDA Organic and verified by the Non-GMO Project, these chickens are fed an entirely vegetarian diet and never antibiotics, hormones, or animal byproducts.

Thawing Tips

You can use SVO chicken tenderloins in place of skinless, boneless breast halves, but they are smaller so will cook in about half the time. They are more porous than breast meat, so if you are marinating tenderloins, they need only about 15 minutes. Flatten them by patting with your hand. Coatings such as mustard or breadcrumbs adhere well to them. Chicken tenders work well in stir-fries, curries, or soups, such as Thai Tom Yum.
