Smoked black peppercorns.
These whole black peppercorns have been carefully smoked over alder or pecan wood to imbue them with smoky flavor and aroma. No artificial flavorings or liquid smoke have been used. They can be used whole, cracked or ground to add a smoky, peppery flavor to dishes.
Note: This product has been irradiated to protect against microbes and disease.
Store smoked black pepper in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place.
RECIPES & TIPS
Use smoked peppercorns whole or ground as you would conventional pepper. To get the full effect of their smoky flavor, grind them over cooked dishes as a finishing ingredient, add them to seasonings, or use them in rubs.
Try them on grilled meats & vegetables, soups, salads or salsa. They’re a great way to add additional complexity to Bloody Marys!
