Espresso Salt (aka coffee salt) is a blend of pure sea salt and ground espresso beans. It can be used equally well in both savory and sweet applications. Though coarse, this is one of the more finely grained flavored salts.
Store coffee flavored salt in a cool, dry place.
RECIPES & TIPS
While espresso salt works well with steak and pork, it really shines when used in desserts. This coffee salt can be paired with spices like star anise, nutmeg, cinnamon or vanilla beans. Try using it sparingly in cognac, raspberry, lemon or hazelnut flavored desserts. Both salt and espresso really accentuate the flavor of chocolate. If desired, this salt can also be ground to a finer consistency using a salt mill or grinder.
