Made from the juice of black currants, D’Arbo black currant syrup has a dark purple (almost black) color and a tart, fruity, almost-red wine-like flavor with a creamy finish. It has simple-syrup-like consistency that makes it easily pourable, measurable, and mixable.
This syrup can be mixed with water (still or sparkling), and dry sparkling wines to make easy but delicious beverages. It can also be used as a topping for ice cream and other desserts, as a cocktail or beverage mixer, or as an ingredient.
The Darbo family has been producing preserves in Austria since 1879.
