Store frozen sausages in your freezer until you’re ready to use it, then thaw only as much as you plan on cooking.

Thawing Tips

Sausages can be broiled, grilled, or pan-fried whole. Italian sausages sautéed with sweet or hot peppers is a classic pairing, piled on a bun or served with a side of pasta in marinara sauce. Sausage casings can be removed, and the crumbled, cooked meat used to stuff a calzone or top a pizza. Loose sausage meat can also boost the flavor of sauces or soups.
