The microgreen version of the Nasturtium plant, micro nasturtium leaves have a mild peppery flavor that's similar to watercress with hints of horseradish. They work well in both cold and warm dishes and are versatile as an ingredient or a garnish. Micro Nasturtium pairs well with everything from fish, pork and roasted root veggies to eggs, honey and salad greens.
Keep nasturtium microgreens in their plastic clamshell and store in your refrigerator.
In general, microgreens will stay fresh for 5-7 days. Some hardier varieties can last longer.
RECIPES & TIPS
Use micro nasturtium as a garnish, especially with cheeses, seafood and red meats, or mix with salad greens. Chop the leaves and blend with softened cheese or butter for a spread or compound butter (how to make compound butter). These leaves are also a delicious addition to potato salad!
