Thawing Tips

Sausages can be broiled, grilled, or pan-fried whole. Italian sausages sautéed with sweet or hot peppers is a classic pairing, either piled on a bun or served with a side of pasta in marinara sauce. Sausage casings can be removed, and the crumbled, cooked meat used to stuff a calzone or top a pizza. Loose sausage meat can also boost the flavor of sauces or soups.
