All perishable products (such as meat or seafood) are sent with gel packs via either Fedex Priority or Fedex Standard overnight. Almost all non-perishable items (such as dried mushrooms or dried peppers) are sent via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground, which takes 2-7 business days for delivery. A few items are shipped via regular mail. The shipping method for each item is noted on each item page.
Items that ship via Ground can be upgraded to overnight shipping (for a fee) by contacting us immediately after placing your order.

Dulse (aka Dillisk, Creathnach) is seaweed that is incredibly nutritious. It is a member of the kelp family that is prized for its macrobiotic properties. It makes a healthy and tasty addition to many ordinary meals. Dulse is packed with iron, protien, chlorophyll, enzymes, vitamins A and B, and fiber.
This dulse seaweed has been applewood smoked.
Storage: Store sea vegetables in their zip top bags or other air-tight containers in cool, dry cupboards.
Shelf Life: Dried sea vegetables will maintain their flavor for at least a year, but likely much longer.
One of the many ways you can eat Dulse is to briefly soak it and add to omelettes, sandwiches, or salads. It also makes a great snack by itself.
