Yaks play an essential role in the Tibetan diet. Yak meat is somewhat similar to beef, but the flavor is more delicate. Yaks carry most of their fat near the skin, allowing it to be easily trimmed away. This makes yak a very healthy and lean red meat.
Yak rib eye steaks are a great way to enjoy this exotic meat’s natural flavor at its most intense levels.
