Wild Boar racks are sweet, juicy, and succulent.

Unlike most Wild Boar on the market today, ours isn’t farm-raised—it’s truly wild, trapped in the Texas Hill Country. This wild boar is all-natural, with no growth hormones or antibiotics. They are humanely treated during and after capture.

The wildness of true Wild Boar gives it a distinct game flavor that farm-raised Wild Boar simply cannot match. Although similar to domestic pork and farm-raised Wild Boar, wild Wild Boar has a deeper color, leaner texture, tighter grain, and bolder taste.

These medium wild boar rib racks weigh 3-4lbs each. We also offer small wild boar frenched racks (1-2lbs each).

Origin: Texas

Applications: Wild boar racks are a prime rib roast of wild boar. They are delicious when slow-roasted and sliced. You can also slice them into chops and grill individually. The nuanced taste of wild boar meat pairs well with rich, fruity flavors like red wine, prunes, brandy, and apples. Herbs and spices frequently used with wild boar include rosemary, thyme, and the always game meat friendly juniper berries.

Recommended Cooking Temps:
The USDA recommends that all wild-caught game be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

How to Store & Share: Each rack weighs between 3 and 4 lbs and has 8 bones (or chops.) One to two racks are perfect for a small dinner party or special occasion. The rest will keep frozen nicely in a zip lock or vacuum sealed bag and can be saved for another special occasion or split with friends and family. For thawing guidelines please refer to Safely Defrosting Food for Maximum Flavor.

Specifications: Each order is for approximately 16.5 pounds of fresh racks. Each rack is 3-4 pounds. There are 4 racks per box.

Shipping Method: Fedex Overnight
