All perishable products (such as meat or seafood) are sent with gel packs via either Fedex Priority or Fedex Standard overnight. Almost all non-perishable items (such as dried mushrooms or dried peppers) are sent via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground, which takes 2-7 business days for delivery. A few items are shipped via regular mail. The shipping method for each item is noted on each item page.
Items that ship via Ground can be upgraded to overnight shipping (for a fee) by contacting us immediately after placing your order.

These heart-shaped palm leaf plates have their surface split into two compartments - a narrow, long compartment at the tip (2”-6” tall, 5”-7” wide) and a smaller compartment at the end (6.5” tall, 3”-4” wide). They’re a great choice for serving two dishes on the same plate with juices or sauces you don’t want to intermingle.
These sweet heart-shaped plates are made from a natural, renewable, and biodegradable raw material. Naturally discarded sheaths of the leaves of the Adaka palm tree are collected. In the course of the tree’s life cycle, these sheaths naturally dry, fall and regenerate. No trees are cut down. The palm sheaths are then cleaned in fresh spring water and molded into plates (read How Palm Plates are Made for more info).Palm leaf plates are durable and leak proof, able to withstand hot and cold temperatures without getting soggy or flimsy. They are tough enough that you can cut steaks on them, standing up to both the serrated blade and the pressure required to cut the meat.
Even though these are disposable plates, each durable piece is unique with an attractive wood pattern finish that fits into both rustic and elegant events.
