Making your own sarsaparilla soda using this syrup couldn’t be easier – just pour some in a glass, add ice, and stir in seltzer or soda water. Sarsaparilla root’s flavor is familiar to most people as part of the flavor of root beer (traditionally made with sarsaparilla and sassafras).  Sarsaparilla syrup has a flavor that is root beer-esque, but cleaner & fresher.

This syrup is handmade in Brooklyn using real, whole, all natural ingredients.  No flavors, extracts or colors are added.  Besides being used to make soda, it can also be used as an ingredient in cocktails and other beverages.

Ingredients:  Water, organic cane sugar, sarsaparilla root, citric acid, spices.

* No Chemical Ingredients

Storage: Store unopened sarsaparilla soda syrup in a cool, dark place.  Refrigerate after opening.

The syrup may separate while in storage.  This is normal.  Simply shake to recombine.

Shelf Life: Six months unopened, two weeks or longer after opening.

Shake well before using.

To Make Sarsaparilla Soda:
Fill a 16oz glass with ice.  Add 1 ½ oz of soda syrup.  Fill the rest of the glass with seltzer water/club soda.  Stir & enjoy!
