Gocce di Coros is a fresh tasting, fragrant and fruity extra virgin olive oil made in Sardinia from traditional Bosana olives. To ensure the freshest flavor, the olives are picked just as they ripen and pressed the same day.
For absolute best shelf life, store Gocce di Coros oil in a cold, dark cupboard when not in use. However, it can also be displayed on the counter and will last very well as long as it doesn't get too hot and is well away from your stove.
Gocce di coros extra virgin olive oil’s mellow flavor won’t overpower dishes, making it very versatile. It’s a great choice for drizzling over just cooked (particularly grilled) seafood, or serving with goat cheese or fruit (especially figs).
Extra virgin olive oil should not be used as a cooking oil due to its low smoke point, but also because it is important to keep oils of this quality away from high heat in order to protect their complex flavors.
