Rosette de Lyon is a coarsely ground pork-based French dry-salami style sausage (aka saucisson). It has a prounounced wine flavor.
These sausages have been made from antibiotic & hormone free pork fed natural feeds (no animal by-products).
*No Chemical Ingredients.
Storage: Store dry cured sausages in your refrigerator. For long term storage they can be frozen, but this may effect their texture.
Shelf Life: Up to 12 weeks for unopened sausages, 10-14 days opened, up to 36 weeks frozen.
Treat rosette de Lyon as you would other salamis. It's delicious sliced thin for sandwiches, charcuterie plates, and appetizers. Peeling the casing off of the saucisson prior to eating it is recommended (it's easiest to do this after slicing).
