Pate Forestier is a coarser consistency pork pate blending both pork and pork liver with garlic and fresh mushrooms.  It is perfect for use in canapes for party hors d'oeuvres or sandwiches.

Both sizes of this artisan pate are glazed with aspic for greater visual appeal, the larger 3.5lb size also has vegetable decoration on top.

Fabrique Delices has been carefully crafting artisanal charcuterie for over 24 years. They follow traditional recipes in order to ensure authentic texture and flavor.

Ingredients: 
3.5lb Size: Pork, Pork Liver, Mushrooms, Water, Egg Whites, Salt, Isolated Soy Protein, Dextrose, Garlic Powder, Pepper, Spices (bay leaves, thyme, cloves, nutmeg), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Sodium Nitrite. Topped with Water, Gelatin, Vinegar, Salt, Carrageenan, Caramel Color, Carrot.

7oz Size: Pork, Pork Liver, Mushrooms, Water, Egg Whites, Salt, Isolated Soy Protein, Dextrose, Garlic Powder, Pepper, Spices (bay leaves, thyme, cloves, nutmeg), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Sodium Nitrite.Topped with Water, Gelatin,Vinegar, Salt, Carrageenan, Caramel Color.

Storage: Store pates in your refrigerator. For long term storage they can be frozen, though this may slightly change their texture.

Shelf Life: Unopened pates will stay fresh for up to 8 weeks. Once opened they will last for 10-14 days. They can also be frozen for up to 36 weeks.

Pates are most commonly served cold or at room temperature with toast or crackers as a canapé or hors d’oeuvre. However, they can also be enjoyed as a sandwich filling.
 
Traditional pate accompaniments include cornichon or gherkin pickles, olives, and coarsely ground French-style mustards.
