Larger and plumper than kumquats (2” long and roughly pear-shaped), mandarinquats are a rarely cultivated kumquat-mandarin orange hybrid with bright orange skin. They are completely edible, except for their larger seeds (similar to mandarins’) and offer a sweeter flavor than conventional kumquats.
Gorgeous on the plate and delicious, they're an exciting & exotic addition to any dish.
Storage: Store mandarinquats in your refrigerator.
Shelf Life: Up to two weeks.
Enjoy madarinquats as a snack, slice them for garnishing or use in salads, or turn them into jams, marmalades, sauces or cocktails.
