Storage: Geoducks are best kept alive by placing them in an open container in the refrigerator and covering them with a clean, wet towel (dampened with salted water) to prevent them from drying out.
Do not keep them in a bucket of sea water. Do not store them in plastic bags or other air tight containers.
For long term storage, geoducks can also be frozen either shucked or in the shell.
Shelf Life: 2-4 days fresh.

Geoduck siphon meat is ideal for sushi, sashimi, or ceviche. The body meat is best cooked, and is often sautéed or steamed.
