Storage: Salmon jerky is shelf stable and can be stored in a cupboard or other cool dry place in a sealed container (preferably in its unopened bags for longest shelf life).
While stored this way, the jerky will become dryer and crispier over time. If you would prefer to preserve its texture exactly as you received it, store it in your freezer until relatively close to when you intend to eat it.
Shelf Life: Up to one year.

Keta jerky is a great source of protein when hiking or camping and a suitable beef jerky substitute for pesco-vegetarians. Throw a pack in your backpack or purse and you’ll never go hungry. You can even cook with it in dishes like fish stew by first rehydrating it in boiling water.
