Makrut limes (aka combava, papeda, caffre lime, leech lime, Kaffir lime) are a small, pear-shaped & intensely aromatic green citrus fruit with a particularly floral citrus flavor.
Makrut limes and Kaffir lime leaves are particularly common in the cuisines of SE Asia. Both the rind and the juice are used in soups, stews, marinades, desserts, beverages, curries, etc.
