Habeneros have long been the gold standard for people who love to eat spicy food but their flavor also has an element of fruitiness, once you get past all the heat.

This pure habanero chile powder is one of the spicer varieties available (but still not nearly as hot as ghost chili powder).

We also offer whole dried habaneros and dried organic habanero chilies.

Warning: Habanero chile powder is extremely hot. Take care to wear gloves and avoid touching your eyes. As this is a fine powder, we also recommend wearing eye protection and a mask to prevent inhalation when working with large quantities. Contact of capsaicin with sensitive tissue can cause intense pain and injury.

Note: This product has been irradiated to protect against microbes and disease.

Storage: Store habanero chile powder in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place.

Shelf Life: Though they will not stay strong for as long as whole dried chilies, chili powders should retain their potency for up to a year.
