Store fresh Anaheim chilies in the refrigerator wrapped in a zip top bag. They can be frozen for long term storage.
Shelf Life: Up to 2 weeks fresh, up to a year frozen.
Beyond classic chile rellenos, Anaheims can be used in a variety of South or Central American dishes as well as in Southwest and Tex-Mex cuisine. Try adding them to cornbread and corn puddings, baked potatoes, stews, soups and sauces.
Like poblanos, fresh Anaheim chilies can be easily roasted whole on a grill or gas stove.
