The Ghost Chile (aka Bhut Jolokia) is so named for its "ghostly" bite. It is known as one of the hottest chile peppers. This pepper is reserved for those who wish to add true fire to their dishes.

This pure ghost chile powder is made from ground dried ghost chilies, nothing else.  As such, it is one of the hottest chili powders known to man.  Each pound of powder has been ground from approximately 150 ghost chiles.

Caution: This powder is extremely hot.

• Wear gloves while handling. Wash hands thoroughly before touching eyes & sensitive tissue.
• Avoid inhaling powder. Eye & respiratory protection recommended.
• In the event of inhalation, move to open air to clear lungs.
• In the event of burning eyes, flush with eye wash. For burning skin, wash thoroughly with soap & water.
• If irritation persists, seek medical aid.

Storage: Store ghost chili powder in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place.

Shelf Life: Though they will not stay strong for as long as whole dried chilies, chili powders should retain their potency for up to a year.

Ghost Chile Powder is extremely hot. Use it sparingly, add a little to fresh salsa, sauces, chili and anything else you want to start a 12 alarm fire with.
