Storage: Store Fennel Flower Crystals™ in an air-tight container (like their jar) in a cool, dark, dry place.
Shelf Life: Approximately six months.
Fennel Flower Crystals™ can be used as a garnish or finishing ingredient for sweet or savory dishes. Try sprinkling some on ice cream or on top of frosted cakes or cupcakes.
These crystals can be crushed or ground into powder or smaller pieces using a spice grinder, mortar & pestle or two spoons. Once in smaller particles they can be used to rim cocktail glasses.
Pair them with flavors like cream, lemon, nuts (almonds or pistachios), yogurt, apricots, fish (especially white fish or salmon) and meats (if their sweetness works with the rest of the dish).
Fennel Flower Crystals™ can also be pressed into or folded into cookie doughs before baking for extra crunch & decoration.
