Fabrique Delices, California

This is a rustic, coarse duck pate blended with fresh oranges, cherries, and brandy.  It is perfect for use in canapes for party hors d'oeuvres or sandwiches.

These pates are topped with aspic (a thin layer of flavored gelatin) which gives them a nice shine.

Fabrique Delices has been carefully crafting artisanal charcuterie for over 24 years. They follow traditional recipes in order to ensure authentic texture and flavor.

Ingredients: Duck, Pork, Duck Liver, Water, Eggs, Dry Cherries, Orange, Onions, Salt, Modified Cornstarch, Brandy, Isolated Soy Protein, Garlic, Parsley, Sugar, Spices, Black Pepper, Sodium Phosphates, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Sodium Nitrite. Aspic : Water, Gelatin, Salt, Vinegar, Carrageenan, Caramel Color.

Storage: Store pates in your refrigerator. For long term storage they can be frozen, though this may slightly change their texture.

Shelf Life: Unopened pates will stay fresh for up to 8 weeks. Once opened they will last for 10-14 days. They can also be frozen for up to 36 weeks.

Pates are most commonly served cold or at room temperature with toast or crackers as a canapé or hors d’oeuvre. However, they can also be enjoyed as a sandwich filling.

Traditional pate accompaniments include cornichon or gherkin pickles, olives, and coarsely ground French-style mustards.
