Cascabel chilies (aka rattle chilies, little bell chilies) are mild chilies that are round and have several loose seeds that rattle loudly when the chilies are shaken.
Scoville Heat Rating: 1,500-3,000
Origin: Mexico
Applications: Cascabel chilies can be ground into chili powder or reconstituted in boiling water. Their flavor works well in soups and other dishes, but their skin is leathery and so they should be pureed or removed prior to the dish being served.
How to Store and Share: Store your dried cascabel chilies in a cool, dry place.
Shipping Method: UPS Ground
