This is an order for a mixed quarter beef. This means that you would be receiving cuts from both the front and the back of the cow. It sounds like a lot from an individual’s standpoint, but if you have a chest freezer or alternate means of storage, this is the way to go. Actually if your regular freezer is pretty empty you may be able to squeeze a quarter beef in it. About 50% of the meat is ground beef, 25% is for roast cuts, and 25% is for steaks.

Specifications: Each order is for approximately 100 lbs of beef. It is flash frozen and wrapped in butcher paper. The cuts are labeled. The ground beef is portioned in 1lb cryovack packs, the steaks are usually 2 per pack, and the roasts are usually in 2-3lb packs.

Options: If you would like to pay a little extra to have the ground beef formed into patties, we can do that too. There are 1/4, 1/3, and 1/2 pound patties available. Stew meat, brisket, ribs, and cubed steak are also options if you call us for a special order. (866) 588-MARX (8279)
