This is a rustic chicken terrine (aka chicken pate) studded with pistachio nuts.  It is perfect for use in canapes for party hors d'oeuvres or sandwiches.
 
This chicken pate is all natural, meaning that it has been made from antibiotic & hormone free animals fed natural feeds (no animal by-products).

Ingredients: Chicken Meat, Pork, Chicken Liver, Water, Pistachios Nuts, Eggs, Modified Cornstarch, Salt, Hydrolysate Soy Protein, Sauternes Wine, Onion, Sugar, Herb De Provence, Black Pepper, Spices (bay leaves, thyme, cloves, nutmeg), Sodium Phosphate, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). Topped with Caul Fat.

Storage: Store pates in your refrigerator. For long term storage they can be frozen, though this may slightly change their texture.

Shelf Life: Unopened pates will stay fresh for up to 8 weeks. Once opened they will last for 10-14 days. They can also be frozen for up to 36 weeks.

Pates are most commonly served cold or at room temperature with toast or crackers as a canapé or hors d’oeuvre. However, they can also be enjoyed as a sandwich filling.
 
Traditional pate accompaniments include cornichon or gherkin pickles, olives, and coarsely ground French-style mustards.
