Offering the strongest salmon flavor of all our wild salmon jerky varieties, rich wild Sockeye salmon boasts a stunning dark red color. It is ranked 2nd highest of all the wild salmon species in flavorful oils (after King). These same oils are extremely high in omega-3 fatty acids, making this fish an excellent choice for people looking to bring more omega-3s into their diet.
This smoked salmon is first brined with honey and then alder wood smoked (hot smoked) until crunchy and shelf stable.
This sockeye salmon has been sustainably fished off the coast of Alaska by small family-run fishing boats and expertly prepared for extremely high quality.

Storage: Salmon jerky is shelf stable and can be stored in a cupboard or other cool dry place in a sealed container (preferably in its unopened bags for longest shelf life).
While stored this way, the jerky will become dryer and crispier over time. If you would prefer to preserve its texture exactly as you received it, store it in your freezer until relatively close to when you intend to eat it.
