Quinoa flakes can be used to make a simple breakfast cereal or substitute for grits. They can also be used as an ingredient in baked goods as you would oatmeal (cookies, quick breads, muffins, etc) or used as the outer coating for breaded chicken, fish, veggies, etc.
Basic Stovetop Cooking Instructions:
To prepare quinoa flakes as a breakfast cereal – add them to boiling water and cook for about 90 seconds. Remove the pot from the heat and let stand until the cereal reaches your desired consistency.
