Grains of paradise (aka guinea pepper, alligator pepper, and malagueta pepper) are spicy, peppery grains most often found in West African and North African cuisine. They are also used to flavor spirits such as aquavit, gin and some beers.
Applications: Grains of paradise pair well with mulled wine, potatoes, eggplants, and lamb (particularly in Moroccan tajines).
How to Store and Share: Store spices in opaque air-tight containers away from moisture. If grinding, do so just prior to use as pre-ground spices lose flavor and aroma over time.
Specifications: These spices ship in quart size plastic containers. Each container has about 16oz of Grains of Paradise.
Shipping Method: UPS Ground Browse our other spices.
