Gnocchi may have been one of the earliest forms of pasta consumed in Italy. Though it wasn’t made with potatoes at first, they are generally the main ingredient of choice for modern gnocchi.
These gnocchi are delicate, light & fluffy potato dumplings. They’re flavor is mild and very adaptable, so they can be used in either cream or tomato sauces.
Ingredients: Potato flour (potatoes, monoglycerides), potato flakes (potatoes, monoglycerides, sodium acid pyrophosphate, citric acid), water, canola oil, salt, rice flour (to prevent sticking).
Made in a facility that produces wheat, egg, soy, milk, seafood, pine nut based products.
Storage: Store Nuovo gnocchi in your freezer until you’re ready to use it.
Shelf Life: Up to 8 months frozen & unopened. For absolute best quality, use within two months after opening the package.
Add still-frozen gnocchi to a large pot of boiling salted water, and boil until tender (about 1-2 minutes). Drain and toss with butter and herbs or your favorite sauce.
Gnocchi can be served with tomato sauce, but it works particularly well with cream sauces, especially those flavored with gorgonzola cheese.
