Store unopened Brooklyn Butterscotch Sauce in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening.
This sauce contains no added stabilizers and may separate. To reintegrate, give it a stir before using.
To re-warm butterscotch sauce for use, either remove the lid and briefly microwave the jar, or scoop out the amount of caramel you want and reheat it in a bowl balanced over a pot of simmering water.
Shelf Life: One year.
Drizzle Brooklyn Butterscotch sauce over waffles (especially sprinkled with almonds), cakes or cupcakes (especially chocolate), fruit or ice cream. Put a little on the spoon you use to stir your coffee or tea to add a little decadence.
You can also just sneak a spoonful as a quick, swoon-inducing pick-me-up.
