Store the bamboo rice & orzo blend in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place.

The green bamboo rice & lemon-garlic orzo blend can be served as you would other rice pilafs as a side dish. It’s a particularly good pairing with seafood, poultry, and grilled or roasted vegetables.
For an easy & delicious salad, toss the cooked blend with cooked asparagus and/or peas, fresh herbs (chervil, Italian parsley, dill or basil), cheese if desired, and a flavorful extra virgin olive oil.
Basic Cooking Instructions:
Combine the blend, a pinch of salt and water in a pot at a ratio of 1 ¾ cups water per cup of blend.
Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the pot and simmer for 12-15 minutes (until all liquid is absorbed). Remove the pot from the heat and let it stand, covered, for five minutes before removing the lid & fluffing with a fork. Serve.
