Wild Coho Salmon (aka Silver Salmon) are similar to King salmon in taste, color, and texture. However, it has a lower oil content which makes its richness less pronounced than King or Sockeye, but Coho is still well regarded in the culinary world. It also has a smaller flake size than those species.
Store frozen coho salmon in your freezer. Thaw them completely before cooking.
