About the Producer:
Hanako Myers and Marko Colby grow high quality organic vegetables and garden starts on their small organic garden on the edge of Port Townsend.
They practice sustainable farming using methods like composting, cover crops, crop rotation and woven polyester covers to keep insects away from some crops without using pesticides. Their long term goals for the farm include building a more diverse habitat for local pollinators, further minimizing waste and discovering natural ways to make their farmland even more fertile.
Hanako and Marko not only grow superb vegetables & herbs, they turn their produce into traditionally fermented, handcrafted sauerkrauts.
