Planet

To be conscious of, and seek to minimize, our footprint on the planet. It’s hard to do, but we’re trying…and we’re getting better all the time. Currently, we are achieving such by: using 100% recycled paper and renewable energy in our office; reusing shipping materials when possible; seeking vendors and food products that are environmentally progressive; shipping in bulk and thereby reducing the packaging and energy required in selling in small quantities; shipping direct and therefore straightening the circuitous paths that our food normally travels; and providing customers with the product’s exact origin so they can decide how far they want their food to travel

Animals

While we have no intention of telling people how to eat, and will therefore fulfill special orders for any products that we have access to, we will only feature and promote animal products from vendors with high animal husbandry and environmental standards.

Profit

We endeavor to earn a profit, thereby making our business sustainable in the long-term.
